Looking to the future, CREDI has come up with a new look to usher in a new age of the Institute.
The CREDI brand is much more than a simple logo or tagline. It is an embodiment of our mission and vision, which are about facilitating the overall transformation of learners within a tertiary education environment.
This rebranding also comes about as CREDI seeks to acquire Institutional accreditation from the Accreditation Council of Trinidad & Tobago (ACTT) in keeping with our organisational capacity. This will see a shift from the current programme approval to accreditation status, which will enable the Institution to adopt a more broad-based approach to tertiary education. Undoubtedly, this will be a significant milestone for the Institution when this is achieved.
In the meantime, we have launched our new logo. Its sleek san serif font is designed to deliver a clean, modern look, while symbolizing structure and stability. We believe that it is highly legible and trustworthy in its appearance – approaching the viewer with a degree of friendliness and warmth. Also, we feel that it is necessary to explain the meaning of CREDI in our brand since our name is still somewhat new and we are attempting to build our brand locally and regionally, hence the spelling out of Catholic Religious Education Development Institute. The shield in the CREDI logo incorporates the Madonna and child as Mary is the institute's patron saint. Further to our new logo, we have also given our website a new look.
As we continue to redefine our future direction, we want to give you the assurance that we will remain steadfast in living out our Vision of “Servant Leaders Transforming the New Millennium – Integrating Mind, Body, Heart and Spirit” in partnership with the whole people of God.
