CREDI Board Member Appointed Auxiliary Bishop

On July 13, Pope Francis today appointed Vicar General Msgr Robert Llanos as Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of Port of Spain.

News of the appointment was announced at a 9 a.m. press conference at Archbishop's House.

In photo, Bishop-elect Msgr Robert Llanos, is congratulated by Archbishop Harris near a framed photograph of Pope Francis.

Bishop-elect Llanos is also the Vicar for Family Life and chair of the Archdiocesan Family Life Commission.

Archbishop Harris said the appointment was good news as an auxiliary bishop will assist in the sacramental and administrative life of the archdiocese.
